Rawan Damen is a filmmaker, media consultant and a board member of ARIJ, as well as the Palestine International Forum for Media and Communication. She is a jury member of Media Creativity Award for Palestine and has produced and directed over 30 hours of documentaries and investigations, which have been translated to many languages. Rawan was a senior commissioning producer at Al Jazeera Media Network for 10 years, working alongside dozens of journalists and filmmakers. She formed and led teams on multiple digital platforms, most notably the innovative project Palestine Remix, which is currently the largest visual interactive website on Palestine. She is currently heading the Palestine Ambassador International Initiative. Rawan holds an MA (with distinction) in Communications Studies from the University of Leeds and received the Media Creativity Award by the Arab Thought Foundation in Beirut (Dec 2015).

انضمت روان الضامن إلى مجلس إدارة شبكة إعلاميون من أجل صحافة استقصائية عربية (أريج) في 2018. الضامن هي صانعة أفلام ومستشارة إعلامية والمديرة التنفيذية ومؤسسة شركة ستريم للإستشارات الإعلامية. خلال العقدين الماضيين، صنعت الضامن أفلاما وثائقية وبرامج تليفزيونية وتخصّصت في السرد القصصي عبر الإنترنت. أنتجت وأخرجت الضامن أكثر من 30 ساعة من الأفلام الوثائقية التلفزيونية، والتي ترجمت إلى العديد من اللغات، ومنها سلسلة (النكبة) الوثائقية الشهيرة التي حازت على جوائز عالمية. عملت لعشرة أعوام في الإنتاج الخارجي في شبكة الجزيرة الإعلامية، أشرفت خلالها على أكثر من 250 حلقة وثائقية من برنامجي تحت المجهر وفلسطين تحت المجهر. أسست وأشرفت على مشروع ريمكس فلسطين؛ أكبر موقع بصري تفاعلي يعنى بالقضية الفلسطينية، الحائز على جوائز دولية. كما حازت على جائزة الإبداع الإعلامي من مؤسسة الفكر العربي في بيروت في كانون الأول/ ديسمبر 2015.
