Mohamed Omar is the strategic partner manager for News at Facebook in the Middle East and North Africa, where he focuses on building and enhancing successful partnerships with Arabic News publishers and broadcasters. Prior to joining Facebook, Omar was a content partnerships consultant at Twitter. He previously served as the managing editor of FilFan.com at  Sarmady, the leading digital content publisher in Egypt. Omar holds a bachelor's degree in History from Cairo University.
محمد عمر هو مدير الشراكات الاستراتيجية للأخبار في فيسبوك لدول الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، حيث يقتضي عمله التركيز على بناء واستدامة الشراكات الناجحة مع ناشري وإذاعيي الأخبار باللغة العربية. قبل انضمامه لفيسبوك، عمل عمر مستشاراً لمحتوى الشراكات لدى تويتر. حصل عمر على شهادة البكالوريوس في التاريخ من جامعة القاهرة، وشغل سابقاً منصب مدير تحرير موقع "في الفن" بشركة سرمدي الرائدة في تقديم المحتوى الرقمي في مصر.
