Jalal Othman worked as a lecturer at the college of journalism, Azaytuna, Azawia, and the University of Tripoli. A certified trainer in media and journalism since 2008, Jalal has worked as a correspondent and TV show presenter for several TV and radio channels in Libya. He has also worked as a reporter and writer for various newspapers and magazines.
Furthermore, he is the founder and chairman of the Libyan institution for investigative journalism. Jalal is interested in writing short stories, lyrics, photography, and documentaries.

السيد جلال عثمان كان محاضراً في كلية الإعلام بجامعات الزيتونة، الزاوية وطرابلس. ومنذ 2008، يصنّف عثمان مدربا معتمدا في مجال الإعلام والصحافة. بداية عمله في الإعلام كانت عام 1989، وتدرج من محرر صحافي إلى رئيس تحرير. عمل أيضا في نقل الأخبار الميدانية وتقديم برامج تلفزيونية لعديد قنوات تلفزيونية عربية في ليبيا.
وهو مؤسس ورئيس مجلس إدارة المؤسسة الليبية للصحافة الاستقصائية، ومهتم بكتابة القصة القصيرة وإنتاج الأفلام الوثائقية.
