Dr. Sahar Khalifa Salem is a lecturer at the Iraqia University in the Faculty of Media and director of the Digital Media Education Project in Iraq. She is a prominent activist in investigative journalist, a coordinating member of the Arab-European Association for Media and Communication Researchers in Iraq and the Vice-President of Al-Basira Association for Media Research and Development. Dr. Sahar Khalifa Salem has participated in establishing investigative units project in Iraqi universities under the sponsorship of Nareg organization. She also contributed to the Arab Media Systems Project with eight Arab universities - under the supervision of the Free University of Berlin - which created an online educational program. She is currently writing a book about the systems of media in Arab countries.

تعمل أ.م.د سحر خليفة سالم مدرِسة في الجامعة العراقية - كلية الإعلام ومديرة مشروع التربية الإعلامية الرقمية في العراق. وهي عضو رئيس ومنسق الجمعية العربية الأوروبية لباحثي الإعلام والاتصال (areacore) في العراق، ونائب رئيس جمعية البصيرة للبحوث والتطوير الإعلامي. كما أنها ناشطة في مجال صحافة الاستقصاء، شاركت في مشروع تأسيس الوحدات الاستقصائية في الجامعات العراقية برعاية شبكة (أريج)، كما أسهمت في مشروع أنظمة الإعلام العربي مع ثماني جامعات عربية تحت إشراف جامعة برلين الحرة.
