Christina Arabia is a Program and Research Associate at the Center for International Policy (CIP) working with the Security Assistance Monitor (SAM) where she conducts research and analysis on U.S. foreign security assistance around the world. Prior to joining CIP, Christina was a consultant for a joint project with the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and the United Nations Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament in Africa (UNREC) where she co-created and populated an online database of Arms Trade Treaty-related cooperation and assistance activities in sub-Saharan Africa. She also co-authored a SIPRI background paper entitled “ATT-Related Outreach Assistance in sub-Saharan Africa: Identifying Gaps and Improving Coordination.” Her previous work has focused on arms control mechanisms in sub-Saharan Africa and disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) in Kosovo. She holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs with a concentration in International Conflict and Security from the New School in New York City and a Bachelor’s from Seton Hall University.

تعمل كريستينا أرابيا، وهي عضو مشارك في البرامج والأبحاث في مركز السياسة الدولية (CIP)، مع مراقب المساعدات الأمنية (SAM) حيث تقوم بإجراء الأبحاث والتحليلات المتعلقة بالمساعدة الأمنية الخارجية الأمريكية في العالم. قبل انضمامها إلى مركز السياسة الدولية (CIP)، كانت كريستينا مستشارة لمشروع مشترك مع معهد ستوكهولم الدولي لأبحاث السلام (SIPRI) ومركز الأمم المتحدة الإقليمي للسلام ونزع السلاح في إفريقيا (UNREC) حيث شاركت في إنشاء قاعدة بيانات على الإنترنت لأنشطة التعاون والمساعدة المتعلقة بمعاهدة تجارة الأسلحة في جنوب الصحراء الكبرى في إفريقيا. كما شاركت في تأليف ورقة معلومات أساسية لمعهد ستوكهولم الدولي لأبحاث السلام (SIPRI) بعنوان "مساعدة التوعية ذات الصلة بمعاهدة تجارة الأسلحة (ATT) في جنوب الصحراء الكبرى في أفريقيا: تحديد الفجوات وتحسين التنسيق". وقد ركزت أعمالها السابقة على آليات الحد من التسليح في جنوب الصحراء الكبرى في أفريقيا ونزع السلاح والتسريح وإعادة الإدماج (DDR) في كوسوفو. كريستينا حاصلة على درجة الماجستير في الشؤون الدولية في اختصاص الصراع والأمن الدولي من المدرسة الجديدة في مدينة نيويورك، ودرجة البكالوريوس من جامعة سيتون هول.
