Ahmed ElShamy is an Award-Winning senior investigative journalist at BBC London. Ahmed was working with IMS, the Guardian Foundation and ARIJ, as an investigative journalism supervisor and trainer on a long-term project "Syria in Depth". He was head of the investigative journalism unit of Masr Alarabia News. He has a journalism professional fellowship program managed by the international center for journalists ICFJ, which is funded by the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (USA, 2014).
