Shahed Al Hindi is a Public Policy Manager at Facebook, working with government and civil society stakeholders in the MENA region. Shahed has a keen interest in content and safety issues and is working on understanding these issues in the region to develop more informed policies. Shahed previously specialized in corporate immigration law, providing immigration solutions to multinational companies and individuals, having worked in Europe and the Middle East. She has performed immigration audits for Fortune 500 companies and overseen the development of global programs for growing companies. She received her Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Kingston University, specializing in international public, criminal and human rights law and obtained her Master of Laws in International Financial Law from Kings' College University.

شهد الهندي هي مديرة السياسة العامة في فيسبوك، وتعمل مع الحكومة وشركاء المجتمع المدني في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، وتخصّصت سابقاً في قانون هجرة الشركات، وقدّمت حلولاً للهجرة للشركات والأفراد متعددي الجنسيات. شهد مهتمّة بقضايا المحتوى والأمان، وهي تعمل على فهم هذه القضايا في المنطقة بهدف تطوير سياسات أكثر استنارة، وأجرت عمليات تدقيق الهجرة لشركات Fortune 500، كما أشرفت على تطوير برامج عالمية للشركات النامية. حصلت شهد على درجة البكالوريوس في القانون مع مرتبة الشرف من جامعة كينغستون في لندن، وتخصّصت في القانون الدولي العام والقانون الجنائي وحقوق الإنسان، وحصلت على درجة الماجستير في القانون بتخصّص القانون المالي الدولي من جامعة كينغز كوليدج.
