Dr. Hamida El Bour director of  Institut de Presse et des Sciences de l’Information IPSI (La Manouba University) in Tunisia.  She has been a journalist for 13 years in Tunisian print media and was the CEO of the Tunisian public news agency TAP (February 2015 – April 2017).

Her areas of research are around freedom of press, media and gender, investigative journalism and journalism ethics.  Her work has been published in a number of Tunisian, French and Spanish journals, amongst other academic literature.

She is the editor of a book on public media in the Arab countries (2013) , co-editor of a handbook on covering politics (2013), co-editor with Dr. Larbi Chouikha of a book about the lives of journalists in a globalized communication context (2014). She is also the co-editor of a book on investigative reporting with Dr Saloua Charfi (2015).  She is the coordinator for Investigative Journalism professional master at IPSI.

د. حميدة البور مديرة معهد الصحافة وعلوم الأخبار IPSI  التابع لجامعة منوبة في تونس. عملت صحافية لمدة 13 عاماً في الإعلام التونسي المطبوع، وكانت مديرة وكالة الأنباء العامة التونسية TAP من فبراير 2015 - أبريل 2017.

للبور أعمال منشورة في عدد من الكتب والمجلات التونسية والفرنسية والإسبانية، وشاركت في تحرير كتب  وهي محرّرة كتاب عن وسائل الإعلام العام في البلدان العربية (2013)، وشاركت إلى جانب آخرين في تحرير كتب سياسية وصحافية، وهي منسقة برنامج درجة الماجستير في الصحافة الاستقصائية المهنية في معهد الصحافة وعلوم الأخبار IPSI  التابع لجامعة منوبة.
