صحافي ومدرب مصري رائد في مجال صحافة البيانات في العالم العربي.أسس عمر العراقي InfoTimes؛ وهو موقع إلكتروني لإنتاج وتطوير محتوى صحافي قائم على البيانات. في 2018، حصل العراقي على جائزة شبكة المحرّرين العالمية GEN لأفضل غرفة أخبار  بفريق صغير. وبعد  12 عامًا من الخبرة في الكتابة والتحرير، أصبح العراقي المدير التنفيذي لشبكة صحافيي البيانات العرب ومحاضراً في كلية الإعلام في جامعة الأهرام الكندية. عمل سابقًا منتجاً للمحتوى الرقمي على شبكة إم بي سي MBC، ومحرّراً للأخبار السياسية والاقتصادية في ياهو Yahoo. درّب العراقي مئات الصحافيين المصريين والعرب بالشراكة مع منظمات دولية مثل BBC Media Action ،Free Press وUnlimited وInternews Europe و DW Academy. ألّف العراقي كتابين باللغة العربية؛ وهما: صحافة البيانات ودليل صحافة البيانات لتغطية قضايا حقوق الإنسان.
">Amr Eleraqi has worked as a journalist for more than seven years, specializing in Egyptian economic and political issues. Mr. Mohamed began his professional career as an Economics Editor at Al Mal (Finance) newspaper in Cairo in 2005. At the same time, he delivered lectures on capital market simulation projects at several universities in Cairo and managed a number of seminars at the Sakia El Sawy (Culturewheel) cultural center on the skills of investing in the capital market. Mr. Mohamed uses the professional pen name Amr Eleraqi. In 2006, Amr joined the financial news provider DirectFN (www.mubasher.info) as manager of interactive services, where he supervised preparing and developing the program schedule for Radio Mubasher. In early 2008, Amr published his first book, Ten Steps for Successful Trading in the Stock Market, which has sold more than 7,000 copies to date. After the events of the Egyptian Revolution starting the 25th of January 2011, Amr founded the Free Media Center (www.fmediac.com) to support and train journalists to upgrade their professional skills as well as to defend freedom of the press through advocacy and awareness. The Center recently launched a number of projects such as the Alboslanews.com (The Compass News), which is a printed magazine and online portal specializing in financial news, and Info Times, an online magazine specializing in visual journalism that launched in November 2012. In late 2012, Amr joined the regional satellite television station MBC (Middle East Broadcasting Center) as a Senior Editor. Amr won first place in the International Center for Journalists’ competition “Building a Digital Gateway to Better Lives” for his investigative report about sexual harassment in Egyptian workplaces.
